About Our School
Happy Valley State School is an Education Queensland state primary school, offering co-educational classes Prep to Year 7.
Generally our enrolments fluctuate during the year depending on employment in the area. However, we have had a steadily increasing enrolment over the past 5 years. Our current enrolment is 365 students from Prep - Year 7.
The following are the age requirements for year levels, which I hope might help those of you moving from other locations locally, from within Queensland, from interstate or internationally. Because the mining industry draws interstate and international families to Mount Isa, our school community and staff are very adept at catering for such students and families.
